ABOUT ME
Dance artist specialized in performance, choreography, and education; developing a career in both New York City and Mexico City, focused on contemporary dance. Experience varies from commercial campaigns, contemporary dance companies, freelance choreography and performing, to running a dance studio and training young professionals in the arts.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Studio Co-Director, Teacher, and Choreographer.

Mexico City, 2019 - Present

Led studio as co-director, overseeing the educational programming as well as managing the business operations. Job included developing class curriculums, coordinating staff, handling payroll and rent payments, overseeing studio’s companies and general operation amongst others.

Worked as teacher of contemporary styles to studio’s competition companies and recreational students alike, ages spanning from seven- to eighteen-year-olds. Choreographed several high-scoring and award-winning routines at conventions such as Jump, Nuvo, Radix and the Dance Awards.

Assisted toddler classes to gain knowledge of early-development teaching in dance, acquiring the skill to teach children ages two and up.

Gained leadership skills, learned to carry big responsibilities and rise up to challenges, to counsel students in time of need, and how to operate a creative business.
